Municipal Council Meetings

The municipal council is required to meet four times a year, according to the following schedule:

• February session
• May session
• July session
• November session

The council may also hold an extraordinary session at the request of the mayor.

The council's deliberations are public. However, the municipal council may decide to meet behind closed doors for certain items on the agenda, at the request of the council president, one-third of the members, the governor, or their representative.

The date of the municipal council meeting is posted on the door of the municipality's headquarters.
