Regional Beach Cleaning Campaign in Bekalta
Environmental Activity No. 1
Following the field visit carried out by the Governor of Monastir to the beaches of Bekalta on July 3, 2018, he approved the organization of a regional beach cleaning campaign in Bekalta on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
The following municipalities participated in this campaign:
- El Moknine
- Tabulbah
- Monastir
- Jemmel
- Bembla El Manara
- Zeramdine
- Bennan Boudar
- Touza
- Sayada
In addition to:
- Regional Directorate of Equipment in Monastir
- National Waste Management Agency
An intervention was carried out to remove a large amount of marine algae, as well as to clean and sweep the roads and paths leading to the beach.
